Cricket on a poppy

I was just pointing the camera at this beautiful poppy to take a fairly wide-angle shot when a big green cricket landed on it.

How do I know it’s a cricket and not a grasshopper? Because it has long antennae! (I have to keep looking it up because I would definitely have called it a grasshopper otherwise.)

It was very good of it to land there just then, I thought, and contrast its almost uniform green with the red petals.
