A rare calm moment

A rare calm moment

This is one of the few moments, since we got him a muzzle today, that Galileo hasn’t been fighting it, trying to get it off.

We finally bought him one because his coprophagia hasn’t reliably improved.

He came straight out of the first muzzle so we got the smallest there was and I sewed the strap up shorter even then.

So far our little Houdini hasn’t extricated himself from it.

It pains me to see him like that, but unless we grasp the nettle he’s never going to get out of his vicious circle.

As I write this, he’s just worked out a new technique of playing football, using the muzzle to bat the ball rather than picking it up in his mouth.
