Wisteria tress

There’s something rain-like about wisteria.

It must be to do with the tinge of grey in the mauve, and the way the tresses flow in the wind.

This has been the wettest spring for 30 years, I’m told, plus it started raining all over again today, so it’s fitting that the wisteria blooms should be super-long.

This one even continues beyond the bottom of the photo.

I love Wiseria, I always wanted to grow some on the front of the house, but unsuccessful in getting it to flower yet

This wisteria here in Italy was 3 years producing one flower, and only after that did it go nuts. We had a wisteria on a south-facing wall of our old family home in Norfolk which produced just one flower, ever. They’re tricky things, but pretty for the leaves as well. I hope you get some flowers soon.
