Not quite amber

More than gum

Apricot gum?

This little chip, about twice the size of a child’s front tooth, came off an apricot.

It was on the fruit itself, not the branch or the trunk.

It’s so hard that it clatters.

Here it is, almost a jewel, seen through the microscope.
