Snow plough

I phoned Valtopina Police this morning and pointed out that our road hadn’t been cleared of snow. I was promised that a snow plough would come sometime today.

It did a very good job, clearing the snow right down to bare track but without digging up any stones.

We made a dash into Foligno and piled the car with provisions, including 3 sacks of dog food.

We’d cleared the snow off the windscreen but nothing else, so each time we braked at a junction, a load of snow slid off the roof, down in front of our eyes, and over the bonnet onto the road, much to the annoyance of anyone behind us.

We’d just about shed all the snow by the time we got home again.
